1
Begin your journey to Wayanad, the picaresque Green paradise of God's own country. Experience the thrill of the journey by passing through the winding Wayanad Churam (mountain pass). En route, visit the mysterious Chain Tree. Afterwards, continue the drive till the anchor points of Wayanad district - Vythiri / Kalpetta. Overnight stay at Wayanad. Day

After breakfast, visit Kuruva Dweep, an uninhabited island of evergreen forest. The total area of the Kuruva Island is about 950 acres. Rare birds, orchids and herbs are the prime attractions here. Then visit Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary - abode of dense wildlife. Overnight stay at Wayanad. Day

Have another thrilling journey through the winding Wayanad Churam (mountain pass), and reach Guruvayur. Then have an excursion to Punnathur kotta Elephant Sanctuary (one of the largest elephant parks in the world), and awake the big elephant lover in you! Then a visit to Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple for Hindus. Overnight stay at Guruvayur. Day

Today, visit Athirappally waterfalls, which is on the edge of the Sholayar forest region and near to Vazhachal waterfalls. The waterfall comes to the view on the drive along the Chalakkudy - Valparai road. Then visit the nearby Vazhachal waterfalls, which is also equally fascinating. Overnight stay at Athirappally. Day

Proceed to Munnar, the marvelously enchanting hill station. On the way to Munnar, visit the spectacular waterfalls at Cheeyappara and Valara - both ranked amongst Kerala's most splendid waterfalls. The waters cascading down the seven steps elegantly at Cheeyappara gives a superb eye feast. Valara waterfall is located 42 km away from Munnar, and is falling from 1000 meters height. Continue your ride and, visit en route Karadipara view point and Pothenmedu view point. On reaching Munnar, check in to your hotel and stay overnight. Day

Today, visit Eravikulam national park (Rajamala National Park), which is located 15 km away from Munnar. This park is home to Nilgiri Tahr (endangered mountain goat) and Atlas Moth (one of the world's biggest moths) and plenty of exotic plants. Then visit Mattupetty Reservoir that offers ample boating facilities. Visit Echo point, an ideal destination for trekking and nature walks, which is located 13 km from Munnar. After that, visit Kundala dam, an appealing artificial dam. Later, get back to your hotel at Munnar for overnight stay. Day

Visit Lockhart Gap, which is another spectacular attraction at Munnar. The view from Lockhart Gap is panoramic, uplifting and above all, romantic as it offers view of Bison Valley and hilly places close to Thekkady. Then proceed to another scenic location - Thekkady. On the way, visit the popular picnic spot Anayirankal dam, which is garlanded by tea gardens and lush forests. After reaching Thekkady, visit the Periyar wildlife Sanctuary, one of the well known Wildlife Sanctuaries in South India. The sanctuary attracts a large number of nature lovers every year, as it is ideal for watching animals in their natural habitat. Then embark on a series of exciting activities like soft trekking and spice shopping. Overnight stay at Thekkady. Day

Go for a rejuvenating spice plantation tour in the morning. After exploring the lovely terrains, take an optional tour to ‘Gavi’ (depending on own choice and cost) - a readymade adventure spot with undulating mountains and thick-set forest covering. Experience breathtaking aerial views of the hillocks… After the energizing trekking activities, return to Thekkady and head back to your Resort and relax. Stay overnight at the Resort. Day

In the morning, proceed to Alappuzha. On arrival, visit the charming Alappuzha Beach which offers you an enjoyable view of the sea. See the time tested historical ruins like the long pier and the old light house. Spend the rest of the day exploring the beauty of Alappuzha, a place Marco Polo affectionately called as Venice of the East. Overnight stay at Alappuzha. Day

Bid bye-bye to the beach and angelic Alappuzha and take a drive to Kochi, where the tour concludes. Get back to the Airport / Railway Station - departure from the wonderland called Kerala.
