1
Upon arrival at Trivandrum, our representative will greet you and assist to the hotel. Visit Kovalam, a crescent shaped beach which is partitioned into 3 separate beaches. The northern end of the trio is the Samudra beach, famous for the fishing trade that takes place in this part of Kovalam. Next is Hawaah or Eve beach which was the first topless beach in the country. The name remains although topless bathing was banned later on. The southern most but the largest of the three beaches is the light house beach labeled after the 35 m high lighthouse that towers over the beach. Spend this night at the serene Kovalam. Day

Proceed to Neyyar Dam, a picturesque location, from Kovalam. After visiting Neyyar Dam, return to explore the wonders in Trivandrum city. The capital city attracts many tourists with its curious wonders like the Napier Museum, Kanakakkunnu Palace and Planetarium. Later return to Kovalam for overnight stay. Day

Now, get another fresh turn for your trip by visiting Varkala beach with its breathtaking cliffs and tranquil surroundings. The beach is also called "Paapanashini" as it is believed bathing here cleanse one's soul. Hence thousands come here to offer Vavu Bali, which is supposed to help the souls of deceased ancestors rest in peace. The beach is situated 54 km north of Trivandrum. Then go through Varkala Beach Cliff, which has a winding footpath lined with hotels, shops and guest rooms. Then, if time permits, visit Kollam beach - a beautiful beach which is ideal for swimming and bathing. Overnight stay at Varkala. Day

Spend more time enjoying the serene charm of Varkala beach and later visit the nearby Edava. Located near Varkala, Edava is a coastal village with serene beaches and backwaters. Overnight stay at Varkala. Day

Today visit Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, which is an unparalleled holy land full of mysteries! This temple is a unique one because it is a refuge for snakes of every type and description. Then visit the charming Alleppey beach which offers you an enjoyable view of the sea from the long pier and the old light house. Visit Alappuzha coir museum. Overnight stay at Alappuzha. Day

This day, refresh yourself beside the serene Vembanad Lake, by taking a houseboat cruise. On the cruise, you can view the R-Block, which is in fact the Kerala version of the world-famous Holland Dykes! Here, vast portions of Land have been reclaimed from the backwaters and are protected by dykes built all around. Then, continue cruising, enjoy the rural beauty of Kuttanad, known as the granary of Kerala. Spend a beautiful night at a houseboat. Day

Depart Alleppey for Thekkady. On the way, visit Kuttikkanam, the beautiful village surrounded by lush green tea plantations. Then, visit Paranthupara, which offers you awe-inspiring upper-view of the surroundings. After arriving at Thekkady, enrich the days experience by viewing the traditional martial / arts-forms of Kerala like; Kathakali / Kalaripayattu (optional activities). Overnight stay at Thekkady. Day

Visit Periyar wildlife Sanctuary, one of the well known Wildlife Sanctuaries in the south. The Sanctuary attracts a large number of nature lovers every year, as it is ideal for watching animals in their natural habitat. After that, go for a rejuvenating spice plantation tour. Today depart Thekkady and proceed to Munnar. En route, visit Ramakkalmettu, the romantically ideal hill station in Idukki district. Then visit the popular picnic spot Anayirankal dam, which is garlanded by tea gardens and lush forests. Visit Lockhart Gap, which offers a breathtakingly beautiful way of Bison Valley and the hilly places close to Thekkady. Overnight stay at Munnar. Day

Visit Eravikulam national park (Rajamala National Park), which is located 15 km away from Munnar. It is home to Nilgiri Tahr(endangered mountain goat)and Atlas Moth(one of the world's biggest moths) and plenty of exotic plants. Visit Mattupetty, a place famous for its highly specialized dairy farm developed through the Indo-Swiss live stock project. Visit Mattupetty Reservoir that offers ample boating facilities. Then visit Echo point, an ideal destination for trekking and nature walks, which is located 13 km from Munnar. Another fascinating thing is that echo point offers an enchanting view of the surrounding green hills. Then visit Kundala dam, an appealing artificial dam which is situated 20 km from Munnar. Then visit Blossom International Park, which is located just 3 km away from Munnar town. The park, which spans across 16 acres throughout Ramaswamy Iyer Head Works Dam, offers you many entertainment options like cycling, boating, roller skating, boating, badminton, tree houses, etc. Overnight stay at Munnar. Start this day's tour by reaching the beautiful Pothanmed View point. Then drive to Cochin. On the way, visit the spectacular waterfalls at Valara and Cheeyappara. Valara waterfall is located 42 km away from Munnar. Neighbored by lush, green forests, this waterfall is falling from 1000 meters height. The nearby Cheeyappara is also regarded as one of Kerala's most splendid waterfalls. Then, reach Cochin and visit the shopping malls and unstring your purses! Overnight stay at Cochin. Day

Today explore the wonderful city of Cochin. Visit Mattancherry and Fort Kochi, the places where history sleeps with memories of colonial era. Then go for a shopping at MG road and Marine Drive . Overnight stay at Cochin. Day

Visit Athirapilly waterfalls, which is on the edge of the Sholayar forest region and near to Vazhachal waterfalls. The waterfall comes to the view on the drive along the Chalakkudy-Valparai road. Then visit the nearby Vazhachal waterfalls, which is also equally fascinating. Overnight stay at Athirapilly. Day

Proceed from Athirapilly to Calicut. En route, visit Beypore fort. On reaching Calicut, refresh yourself beside the enchanting Calicut beach. This old-world charm of the beach is enhanced by an old lighthouse and the two crumbling piers, each more than a hundred years old. Entertainment facilities such as the Lions Park for children and the marine water aquarium are added attractions at the beach. Overnight stay at Calicut. Day

This morning, visit Kappad beach, which is about half-an-hour drive from Calicut. Then proceed northwards, to Thalassery. On arrival, visit Thalassery Fort which was built by the British in 1700 after identifying Thalassery as their commercial capital in the region. The Fort is situated on a small hill called Tiruvellapadkunnu. It was later strengthened in 1708. Then relax at Muzhappilangad beach, the only drive-in beach in Kerala. Overnight stay at Thalassery. After breakfast, begin journey to Kannur. Visit Fort St. Angelo (Kannur Fort). It was once a major British military position in Malabar. Originally built by the first Portuguese Viceroy, Don Francisco De Almeida, in 1505, the fort was captured by the Dutch in 1663. It became a possession of the British in 1790, and went on to rebuild it. Then visit Parassinikadavu Muthappan Temple. This Siva temple, located on the banks of the Valapattanam River, is a famous pilgrimage centre in Kerala. Later, reach Bekal and spend the night there. Day

Visit Bekal beach. Then visit Bekal Fort, the 17th century fort, which is one of the biggest attractions in Kerala. The fort was by built by Ikkeri Naikkan, to shield his kingdom from aggressors. Spread over forty acres, Bekal fort is the biggest fort in Kerala. Overnight stay at Bekal. Day

Today, proceed to the green paradise of Kerala - Wayanad. Start unveiling the natural wonders at Wayanad by a visit to Kuruva Dweep, an uninhabited island of evergreen forest. The total area of the Kuruva Island is about 950 acres. Rare birds, orchids and herbs are the prime attractions here. Then reach Kalpetta and spend the night there. Day

Explore Edakkal caves, known for its heritage value. What make these massive rocks special are the carvings of the pre historic age. The carvings represent human and animal figures and objects of human use and symbols. They indicate the presence of a civilized human population in that time. Then, visit Muthanga wildlife sanctuary, the largest wildlife sanctuary in the Malabar region. Visit Chembra peak, he highest peak in Wayanad (2100 meters above sea level) Overnight stay at Wayanad. Today, visit Pookottu Lake, which is a perennial fresh water lake in green mountains. Apart from natural beauty, the place has a freshwater aquarium, children's park and boating facility. Visitors can go for some travel memorabilia at the handicrafts emporium. The shop also has quality Kerala spices for sale. Then visit another equally enchanting spot named Kanthanpara waterfalls. This charming waterfall is a smaller one and comes down from a height of thirty meters. Day

Visit Vythiri, an absolutely stunning location amidst the dense forests in Wayanad's high ranges. Then start the return journey, to Calicut. En route, experience the thrill of the journey through the winding hair pin roads. After arriving at Calicut, visit the Palayam market. Then shop at the famous Sweet Market (Mithai Theruvu). Overnight stay at Calicut.
