1
Begin your journey to Wayanad, the picturesque hilly district. En route, visit chain tree. Experience the thrill of the journey by passing through the winding Wayanad-Pass. Then reach Vythiri / Kalpetta. Visit Kuruva Dweep, an uninhabited island of evergreen forest. The total area of the Kuruva Island is about 950 acres. Rare birds, orchids and herbs are the prime attractions here. Then visit Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at Wayanad. Day

Refresh your mind by visiting Soochippara waterfalls. Then visit Pookottu Lake, a perennial fresh water lake in green mountains. Then visit Edakkal caves. What make this massive rock special are the carvings of the pre-historic age. The carvings represent human and animal figures and objects of human use and symbols. They indicate the presence of a civilized human population in that time. Visit Meenmutty waterfalls. Overnight stay at Wayanad. Day

Arrival at Calicut. Visit Koduvally. Then visit Calicut beach. An old lighthouse and the two crumbling piers, each more than a hundred years old, add more charm to this beach. Then visit the famous Sweet Street (Mithai Theruvu). Overnight stay at Calicut. Day

Start from Calicut, and reach Guruvayur. Then, have an excursion to nearby Punnathur Kotta Elephant Sanctuary - one of the largest elephant park in the world, and wake up the ‘big’ elephant lover in you! Then, a visit to Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple for Hindus (as Non-Hindus as not allowed inside the temple). Overnight stay at Guruvayur. Day

Visit the beautiful Nattika beach. After that visit Cherai beach, one of the few places where we can see the lagoon and ocean separated only by a few hundreds of meters. Then drive to Cochin. Experience the historical aroma of a bygone colonial past by visiting Mattancherry and Fort Cochin areas. Overnight stay at Cochin. Day

Proceed to Munnar from Cochin. En route, visit Cheeyappara waterfall, which is regarded as one of Kerala's most splendid waterfalls. The waters cascading down the seven steps elegantly at Cheeyappara gives you a superb eye-feast. Then visit Valara waterfall which is located 42 km away from Munnar. Neighbored by lush green forests, this waterfall is falling from 1000 meters height. Then visit Karadippara view point and feast your eyes with delightful visuals. Rejuvenate your soul by visiting Attukal waterfalls. Later, after reaching Munnar, visit Pothamedu view point. Overnight stay at Munnar. Day

Today, visit Eravikulam national park (Rajamala National Park), which is located 15 km away from Munnar. This park is home to ‘Nilgiri Tahr’ (endangered mountain goat) and ‘Atlas Moth’ (one of the world’s biggest moths) and plenty of exotic plants. Then visit Mattupetty Reservoir that offers ample boating facilities. Visit Echo point, an ideal destination for trekking and nature walks, which is located 13 km from Munnar. After that, visit Kundala dam, an appealing ‘artificial’ dam which is situated 20 km from Munnar. Overnight stay at Munnar. Day

Visit Lockhart Gap, which is another spectacular attraction of Munnar. The view from Lockhart Gap is panoramic, uplifting, and above all romantic as it offers view of Bison Valley and hilly places close to Thekkady. Then visit the popular picnic spot Anayirankal dam, which is garlanded by tea gardens and lush forests. Afterwards, proceed to Thekkady. On the way, visit the beautiful Ramakkalmedu. Then, visit Vanadanmedu, which is one of the world's largest cardamom auction centers. After arriving at Thekkady, add a traditional Kerala charm to your romantic evening by viewing Kathakali/Kalarippayattu . Overnight stay at Thekkady. Day

Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, One of the well known Wildlife Sanctuaries in South India. The Sanctuary attracts a large number of nature lovers every year, as it is ideal for watching animals in their natural habitat. Visit Parunthumpara, which offers you an impressive view of the beautiful surroundings. Proceed to the beach destination, Kovalam. En route, visit the beautiful village Kuttikkanam. On arrival, check in to your hotel at Kovalam. Overnight stay at Kovalam. Day

Visit Kovalam beach - crescent shaped one which is partitioned into 3 separate beaches. Then visit Vizhinjam Aquarium. Then enjoy the pristine beauty of Poovar beach, located some 13 km away. Poovar is a natural wonder where the Lake, River, Sea and Beach meet the land. This Golden Sand Beach has also got historical significance as it is closely associated with the legendary King of the erstwhile Princely State of Travancore, Marthanda Varma. Today morning, spend some time at Trivandrum, exploring the city wonders. Then, set for an exciting journey to the picaresque Kumarakom village. On arrival, keep your spirits fluttering with natural joy and romance, by visiting Kumarakom bird sanctuary, which spread across 14 acres of land. The sanctuary is a home for many migrating birds. Begin the day’s trip with enjoying the irresistible charm of backwaters. Visit Pathiramanal, a small, beautiful island located on the border of Kottayam - Alappuzha Districts. Then visit Thaneermukkom bund, the largest mud regulator in India. Overnight stay at Alappuzha. Day

Today, depart Alappuzha to Cochin. Then take a journey through the narrow, aromatic paths of Mattancherry and Fort Cochin. Overnight stay at Cochin.
