Tashkent Tour Packages

Taskent, which is known as stone city, is the capital of Uzbekistan and of the Tashkent Province. Though Tashkent owns a rich history of traditional architectural heritage, the signs of it were destroyed to some extent during the 1917 revolution and, later, to the 1966 earthquake. Tashkent is, however, rich in museums and Soviet-era monuments. Kukeldash Madrasah is a good example. The history of Kukeldash Madrasah dates back to the reign of Abdullah Khan II (1557–1598) and it is currently being restored by the provincial Religious Board of Mawarannahr Moslems. Another one is Chorsu Bazaar, located near the Kukeldash Madrassa. This huge open air bazaar is the center of the old town of Tashkent.

The Old City part of Tashkent is an attractive option for any tourist with Khast - Imom Complex, where You will see Barakhan madrasah, the mausoleum of Abubakr Kaffal Shosh (the saint who lived in the X th century and who converted the population of Tashkent into Islam), and the Meuseum of Koran where the original VII century Osman Qoran written on a deer skin is preserved. You can also visit Zangi ata complex, pilgrimage place of Tashkent and Tashkent region.
